The Highest-Performing Scopes On Earth.
From the outset, the LPS® (Leupold Premier Scope) was designed to outperform every other scope on earth. What’s truly amazing about the LPS, however, is that while both models share many of the same remarkable features, there are aspects to each that make them truly unique and outstanding in their own right.

But before we tell you what makes each LPS scope unique, let’s take a look at what makes the LPS line the highest performing, hardest working group of riflescopes in the world.

The LPS offers an astoundingly high 99.65% light transmission per lens surface. For brightness, the LPS is simply unbeatable.

All lenses are fully coated with Diamond Coat™, our advanced, multi-layer, anti-reflective lens coating that helps us achieve such high levels of performance.

The objective and ocular lenses of each LPS are coated with a special Ion-Assist formula of Diamond Coat that makes them ten times more scratch resistant than is required by the military.

Both LPS models offer abundant, non-critical eye relief. You get the strength of a rugged one-piece, 30mm main tube that contains a larger erector system for better image clarity. You get extensive windage and elevation adjustment range, low profile finger-adjustable windage and elevation dials which can be zeroed without tools, and the easy-to-grip rubber power selector with easy-to-read angled numbering.

What makes each individual LPS model a remarkable scope in its own right? The LPS 3.5-14x50mm Side Focus features a turret mounted side-focus parallax focus knob so you can adjust parallax settings from the shooting position. Serious hunters and shooters will definitely be able to appreciate the utility of this feature.

Another important feature of the LPS 3.5-14x50mm Side Focus is its extended-length main tube. You’ll have plenty of mounting space to fit the largest rifle actions. For such a high-powered scope, it’s extremely lightweight while also delivering legendary Leupold ruggedness, making it a true luxury on long hunts in rough country.

Big game hunters will find exactly what they’re looking for, such as mid-range magnification, in the LPS 2.5-10x45mm. We were also able to achieve two specific objectives with the 45mm objective lens of this scope. First, even at 10x, it has a 4.5mm exit pupil. Second, the 45mm objective is small enough that you can mount the LPS 2.5-10x45mm close to your rifle. As experienced shooters know, it’s crucial to mount a scope as low as possible.

The LPS was built from the ground up to the best riflescope on earth. Taken individually, or taken as a group, we think you’ll agree that the LPS is exactly what it claims to be, and much more.
